Ah, the site linked to in your original post is wearing a different theme which is why I didn't see them. Add this to get rid of ziggies.

Thanks for the response. I still do need the code to remove the zig-zag lines. I am working on the theme in snapshot mode and haven't published it yet.

Is it possible to retain the overall width of the main container and increase just the side bar space?

@skyblueguy, this is just a thought, but if you want to highlight a specific comment, what about editing your post put an excerpt of the comment and then link to comment down in the comments section (right click on the date of the comment and copy the link)?

Alternately, if it is a good comment you want people to be aware of, create a new post and put that comment in it and then add in some of your own thoughts perhaps (and link to the actual comment).

Add this and see what you think. Since you have a responsive width theme, make sure and narrow your browser window down to a narrow point so you can see what happens to the title and description. They don't work as cleanly as they did in their original position. I can play with it a little more, but with the image resizing as the screen gets smaller it might be difficult to get it to work smoothly.

Background images, unless you set specific advanced background properties, do not resize when a browser window is narrowed or widened, or when you view the site on a smaller screen.

Can you add the other background back in and let me take a look at it for you to see if I can see what you are seeing? I'm not sure I completely understand.

Thanks for helping! Where the photo is is fine. But the photo I want has an architectural feature in it that's in the background with alot of blank space around it. I want the feature to look at a distance. But the photo that appears zooms in on the face. I want the whole photo. I've tried editing it vertically, horizontally, all manner of proportions. All the same, the architectural feature is up in your face and the background is out of the picture.
I hope I'm making myself clear. If you have the picture in front of you, it's a woman's face at the top of a plaster arch.

The "width setting of 97% should take care of that. The image widget doesn't account for a border since the theme wasn't designed for a border. Are you seeing the right border cut off? What browser are you seeing that in? It isn't cut off in Firefox or Safari.

Are you wanting the image to be just behind the content on your site or are you wanting it to cover the entire background so that the turquoise color does not show?

Oh thank you so much. I too looked at the source code and found "image-2" but could not figure out the part before the first wavy bracket.

Do you know why is the right border cut off?

Oh yeah, so you know how I did this, I looked at your source code (view source) found the image widget and then got the unique id for that particular widget. The border will only show on this specific widget.

This will do it and you can edit the size and color of the border as you desire. Since the theme didn't have borders on the images to begin with, I had to downsize the image just a little or the right border was cut off.

I was able to change the header width when I saw the code in the CSS editor. So that takes care of that. I believe if I change the content_bkg.gif I can simply upload it to my site, like I do images, and then just change the link address in the Editor. I would need to find the CSS for that and copy it into Editor, but I should be able to find that.

My final question, and then you can close this discussion. I have noticed using the ChaoticSoul theme that once you scroll down past the current blog entry, the font size changes and may appear to be a little small for some viewers. Can the Font Size on older posts being viewed by scrolling, be changed?

I said you needed the CSS upgrade to "have it permanently in a specific point, regardless of the page i am in". Unless you are good with it being in a text widget, and the widget is displayed on all posts and pages, you will need the CSS upgrade for that.

Does anyone have any idea of how to add a specific border around the photo in "Today's Cat" widget without affecting any other photos on my site?

I used the image widget to set it up and regularly change the photo and want the photo to have a border.

If possible, I want to add it to my custom CSS. I am using Twenty Eleven theme.

You can't move a single comment to the top. You have two comment order choices (ascending or descending) for all comment display in the blog and they are found here > Settings > Discussion
Check 6. in the guide here http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/discussion-settings/#other-comment-settings
