However, deleting a post shouldn't send out a random email. Staff will need to know about this. Contact them via your dashboard help button and give them all the info you've given us, and if you can, copy/paste one of the emails your subscribers got when you deleted a post.

When those events are past, I delete the announcements to eliminate outdated blogs. When I do this, the blog nearly always sends out an email of some random old posting which I did not delete. People are always wondering why they're getting an email which they got 2, 3 or even 6 months earlier.

Does anyone know why this happens and how I can stop it, other than cease deleting stale-dated blogs?
