In general, GIFs become static if resized..

I ditto that. I have had problems getting the gifs (animated or not) to show up if I resize them with the height and width attributes. If you need to add gifs to your blog, create them in the size you want them in your post and upload them full-size.

Hello again! I'm having some issues with the gifs I'm trying to add in my posts! :(
After I insert the image I realize that it's not moving or anything, then I make sure that it's a gif, sometimes I remove the image and add a new one sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't, am I doing something wrong? I mean, after I upload the gif it's just static! I have managed to add some gifs but it's so difficult! I have to try too many times with different pics! Please help! :(

It is a flash-based plugin and plugins are not allowed here at wordpress.COM. Plugins can only be used on self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG.

I have seen this 3D animated feature for tag cloud only in self hosted blogs (WP.org). Nothing about it here in WP.com.

You can transfer them to different users, but in order to delete the user who created the blog from that particular blog, you'll need to contact staff. If you don't do this, it's quite possible that your blogs can be connected by a very smart user.

To do this, create new user IDs using new emails, then follow these instructions:

Am I right in assuming that once the user name is linked with a blog, I won't be able to change the user or email? To be clear: I created three blogs here all under the same user. Can I then somehow transfer them to different users and emails? It isn't an issue of anonymity in this case, but would be helpful when I'm leaving comments if I could choose which blog readers can link to.

Yes. The unique identifier is the email address used to register a user account with. If you do not want to have blog associated with one another then you can register under other usernames with different email addresses. Be sure you are logged out of wordpress though when you create a new account.

That's because you aren't getting the code fro the pore HTML version. The javascript version will not work here as the software strips the code out to preserve security on this multiuser blogging platform.

If your from David then yes you would see that when you visit your blog because Feedjit counts a hit from your visit also.

Thats how Feedjit works that little message is telling you where your visitors are from in the blogsphere.

For example when I visited your site Feedjit changed to "Grand Rapids Blogsphere"

I refresh and then it changes to Maracay's, and then it goes back to David's ,does it have something to do with the last person that visited my site? Yes. However, since I've only been using WP for 2 days, my Paypal transactions for upgrades are still pending. I've been using the preview mode to test the random image header trick. So you won't be able to see the missing header image just yet. However, it looks like blank white space. An elephant in a snow storm or such.

Let me try. Alas, I fear this will be long winded. I managed to make Urban Semiotic's 9 step recipe work, albeit on the Misty Something-or-Other theme using the preview mode as my custom css transaction is not yet complete. It works fine if I put the rotate.php script and associated images in the public_html directory at the ISP where I host my MT blog. But I've come to loath MT, and have moved our blog to wordpress.com. I'd like to find a free host for the rotate.php file and header images. I've tried two: joolo.com and freephpwebhosting for no particular reason apart that I can spell them reliably. However, when I tried to test these free hosts with the random image header script (again in preview mode,) I only see blank white space where once one of my beautiful random header images used to be. Happens with both hosts. I'm theorizing that WP.com is blocking traffic from free PHP hosts for security reasons, but there are other possibilities.

So to my restated question:

Does WP.com's firewall squash incoming packets from known free PHP hosting sites like joolo.com and freephphosting.com?

If not, can anyone speculate why the random header image script works correctly with one host and not another?
