I like to use this button for writing and pictures, as it is quicker and simpler than the New Post on the dashboard menu down the left, but the text is not saved, and there is no link to Draft until I have published it, and then return to Edit.

At the moment, I prepare my posts on the desktop and then copypaste them in, so as not to lose the content. This is because occasionally when I publish, I get "Invalid Post" and have to start again. Why is this?
