Just add the domain where prompted, and if it's already registered elsewhere, you'll be prompted to map it, not register it.

However, whenever I follow the prompts to buy the $13 upgrade for domain mapping, it takes me to the option to register a domain. How do I get just the mapping upgrade without registering a domain with wordpress? Thank you for your help.
