What I would suggest now, is that kiwiamo restores her original CSS code. I suggested her to make a backup just in case. Perhaps you can take it from there since you are more familiar with the code and know better than I do what classes/definitions affect what.

I found this comment in your ported CSS:

I find it strange that this didn't work in IE - at least not in her case. The .png files were not transparent at all... perhaps is not something in her CSS but in the theme's code that staff should look into?

I forgot to mention, I don't know if you've seen her blog, but with my hacks, both main_content.png and sub_content.png files won't display at all.

unfortunately, with the height constrained, and both div's (#container and #primary) floating, i can't see any way of moving the footer down.

My first example, didn't have the height property and the background images weren't displayed either. The only difference is that the footer didn't move from its original position.

Regarding the problem in Explorer, I don't see it blue but gray. The reason for this is because IE doesn't display .png files with 24-bit alpha transparency.

There is a way to make explorer display these kind of files but it's an 'ugly' hack. Replace your current definition of the #container element with the code below (make a backup of your CSS before making any changes):

In firefox the theme has one small issue that I see. At the top the header panel has a blue border around the top, left and right edges.

In Internet Explorer it has the same issue but one additional, very noticeable issue which is that this header panel is not white or transparent. It is visibly blue.

How can I fix these two errors?
