The sidebars, headers and titles/etc are part of the THEME not part of the export file. The export file will include categories, tags, posts, pages and comments.

Are you importing it into wordpress or what?

well, I can get the xml exported, and i know that what i need is int here, but i don't know waht to look for in the code - Where does the content part of the body show up and what so the header and sidebars look like??

Nobody can help you without a link to your blog, starting with http. We always need to look at it.

If you're asking about how to take your blog posts from here and display them in an external website, we can't help you with that; if your site builder had a technical support department, I suggest you ask there.

i can't seem to figure this out. I want my blog posts ONLY to apear on my webpage, but i can't figure out what part of the xml file to use. I keep trying and it keeps not working, anyone know where i can go to learn how to break down the contents of the xml file? i don't want the title bar/header, side bar, nothing but the posts with daets on them. please help. I'm sure this is a peice of cake for someone...
