The "All" link showed up in the Top Rated widget and it became a default view. This was not producing the suitable results that I was accustomed to previously. The second thing I noticed was the increase in the page load as my blog no longer fetching anything from polldaddy site, which I believe was causing a significant delay to load the page previously. Now, the blog loads much faster.

I am not happy with this but the difference in speed was significant to compromise.

In that case, you copy the category URLs and turn them into links (Links > Add New); headings = link categories.

Also note that once you have all the categories in your text widgets, the category pages themselves will update as you add posts to the categories.

That's how I have my categories set up on my blog, in a text widget.
(I wanted pictures next to the cats.)

It appears to me that you would like to have two (or more) separate category widgets displaying not "Categories" in their title, but your "menu title", and then the corresponding sub-categories. That is not possible. All categories can only go in one widget, as 1tess has described.

The only option to have it the way you want is to handcraft the category links in a text widget, as panaghiotisadam described above.

To use your example, what you can do is turn “Values” into subcategories, with “Poets” etc. as parent categories, not headings. Subcategories will show up indented under each parent category.
Or you can handcraft the sets using a text widget; you’ll need the URLS of the category pages, coding for links and coding for unordered lists. Drawback: you’ll have to manually update the widget each time you add a new category.
