I can´t add a double opt-in form.
I have 102 W3C Errors on my WP-blog: http://eozwei.wordpress.com/. How can I wipe these Errors out of the Code? This now leads to worst technical rankings.
Can you halp me withe it?
Can a new theme help? Is Oxygen better than 2011?
Will the errors will get even wors with that?
The W3C errors occured after reducing the page from 25 visible posts to 5 posts.

@coffeemanmatt: I've turned off all ad blocking ad-ons on this computer. I'll check on the college computers to see if I can reproduce this again. This complaint came from several students as well as from myself, so I'll keep trying to find out what the trigger is.

I'm unable to reproduce it - I tried the latest Chrome and Firefox version on Windows 7, and each time I was able to access the post. Are you running any add-ons or anything that could be interfering?

so I checked out that link and it helped some. I am now trying to get the "featured image slide reel" on the top page of my posts page, which is not my main page. I can't figure out how to do it...but it seems like it should be able to be done.

Any thoughts?

On my homepage (not my blog page) I am attempting to post a single photo, have it appear really big on the screen, and above it have the featured articles linked via sticky. I can only get the photo to appear really big in Showcase (not default or sidebar), and the featured posts appear under the photo, rather than above, and it looks quite bad.

I would also like the featured articles to appear on the blog page in the large image/text format, but it can only do it to the main page, from my understanding.

So, basically I'm wondering if I am not doing it correctly, or what else I can do? Possibly there is another theme that can access this easier? Any tips or help would be awesome, let me know if I am not stating things clearly I'm getting used to all the language!

That's no problem. To completely hide the recent posts section in the Twenty Eleven Showcase Template, use this CSS:

make the header image height smaller. is this possible at all with the CSS upgrade, and if yes, how?

First, you should create a header image with the dimensions you'd like to use on your blog, upload it to your media library, and copy the image URL.

Here is one example showing how to replace the built in header image in the Twenty Eleven theme with a smaller size that you set:
