I understand that the domain is non-refundable, but when I tried to cancel the bundle, it stated that I was not eligible for a refund because 30 days had passed. That's not true. It was less than a week. If you like, I can send you a screenshot I took. You guys should probably look into that.

Your bundle included a domain registration.

Unfortunately, we can only refund the domain registration portion within 48 hours.

If you'd like, I can cancel and refund the rest of the bundle for $73.

As for the domain, if we cancel the domain, it can take up to several weeks, and we can't guarantee that your domain will be available to you again once canceled.

If you want to keep using your domain but you don't want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don't have to cancel it.

Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

Most themes have a specific width limit (measured in pixels) for images inserted in a post or a page. If you exceed it, the image may be cut off, or overlap the sidebar; in a few themes it may become distorted or even break the theme.
I was looking into the possibility of making a small jobsite with wordpress. That is the reason why I would like to automatically delete posts after some time. But a redirection to a page that states that this job is no longer online would be very appropriate. Hope this helps.

@christophe
Please understand that I'm 100% with TSP and raincoaster on this. I would never consider linking to a blog that where the practice was to delete posts that were 30 days old.

There is no limit to the number of posts you can have in a free-hosted wordpress.com blog. Consequently, it ought to make no difference to you at all that the old posts are still there. There is no "automatic way" to set the software up delete 30 day old posts. Also just so you don't get sidetracked and forget raincoaster asked for your blog link, every time you post to the forum you must provide the complete url for the blog you are referring to starting with http://

From a search engine standpoint deleting articles after 30 days is a really, really, really bad idea as the links to those articles in the search engines will then lead to "404 file not found pages" and search engines absolutely HATE 404 errors. Also, anyone who happens to link to one of your deleted articles from a post on their site suffers as well since it will create a broken link on their site. Again, that will make the search engines cranky toward the other person's site.

If you do what you are proposing to do, after a short while, the search engines will quit indexing your site due to all the 404 errors. I've seen it happen. I've had people contact me on that very issue and ask me to clean up the aftermath, and it's a long drawn out process taking about 4-6 weeks.

Finally if you follow through with this, do not expect a high placement in search engines, and do not expect high page ranking.
