I'm wondering how to do that? I looked in the Widget section but didn't see anything that looked like it but maybe I'm just not understanding what one of the widegts are? I am using the Chateau theme.

3) When you enable a Custom Menu, it overrides pre-existing menus.

1) I can post comments on my blog from my wordpress account, but other people who have tried cannot leave a comment.

2) I made menus that my account lists as existing, but they don't show up on my website (menus are the buttons for going to different pages on the site, right?).

3) The two menus (assuming that's what I think it is) that my site originally had ("home" and "About Me") have vanished.

4) I don't know if it's supposed to or not, but I've created categories that my account counts as existing, but only the two with a blog post under their them are listed on the site.

5) All of my blog entries posted are posting to the home page, which I had set to static.

6) A picture for one of my blog posts did not load to the site (which may be a size issue?).

7) When I published a blog post, the page was posted to my twitter account. Yet my site's twitter widget says that it can't connect to my twitter account.

If I can get help with ANY of these issues then please, please help me. I like blogging, but working with the site has become a ridiculous affair. The site address is WriterToAuthor.Wordpress.com, if it needs to be seen. I don't know what other people see from their computers, so it might just be that I'm seeing it without updates for some reason. I don't know what's wrong, nor how to fix it, and no amount of googling finds me an answer so far; please, please help. Thanks in advance.

I'd like to change the way the title is presented by putting a logo I have designed with Ps... I have no idea how to do that!!

Here's an example showing how to add a logo to the Sight theme's title with CSS if you're interested. To see it work, add it to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor and click the Preview button:

To use a different logo, change out the url() value with a link to your logo image and adjust all of the numbers until your image is placed correctly.

Moreover, this is a different question, but I'd like to clear off all of the links I do not want to figure on a page, at the bottom of it: syllabus, archives, categories, most recent/most read... How could I do this?

My second issue is one that has plagued me since the FIRST day I signed in with WordPress. Although everything I read ensures that Gravatar and WordPress work together and only ONE password is required for both. I'm all for that. Anything that saves me remembering another 10-20-digit password is okay by me!

The problem, they DON'T play together! For a more detailed rant, please see my most recent blog, but the jist is:

I tried to use the 'verify yourself' and was directed to enter my Gravatar password.
I did so. Received a message that the password or user name is invalid.
HUH???
Okay; requested new password.
Clicked link and entered new password (the SAME one as before).
Go back and try to connect to verify myself. Now my WordPress password is incorrect. *grrrr*
Okay, request new password. Click link to reset password. Reset with SAME PASSWORD just entered for Gravatar.
Okay, both should be linked, right?
Click Verify.
Receive: PASSWORD OR USER NAME INVALID.

WHAT???

So, I am begging for assistance as to what I am doing wrong between these two accounts. I have requested help REPEATEDLY through Gravatar. The only thing they seem able to say is, "Please re-set your password or user ID."
