I understand your question/suggestion :) What you are asking for is currently not possible with the Blogs I Follow widget, because subscriptions are per account (username) rather than per blog. Some other options that you have:

1) Associate blogs with different accounts by transferring them (note that you'll need to use different credentials to log into each of your blogs). You'll need to create new accounts first. More about transferring a blog to a different account (username): http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account

2) Use the Links widget (note that it only has a list view, no grid view): http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/links-widget/

I have a number of blogs. And I want to display the 'Blogs I follow' in a few of them. I want any of my BLOG to follow another blog - not my USER to follow another blog. The later is what is happening and hence the 'Blogs I follow' shows all the blogs that all my blogs follow. How can I make my separate blogs to follow and display separate groups of blogs they follow. Hope someone gets my question. :)

Hi there - I added a test draft post to your site - which you can feel free to erase - and was able to add a link without any issues.

As timethief suggested above, could you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies?

http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

Are you running any new security software that may have been updated recently to cause any changes? For example, a new pop-up blocker could be preventing the link pop-up window to work correctly.

Are you able to add an image correctly? That function also uses a pop-up box.

It would be easy to follow WordPress instructions if it was just one legislator, but I want to link to sites where anyone from any state can find addresses for all their representatives. (e.g. http://www.senate.gov)

Sorry if my question came out as confused as I felt. WordPress seems to want you to link within a sentence, (e.g. "click on this link to reach ______", where the address is connected to the phrase "this link") or something like auxclass wrote (where you click on the name). I want to list senate.gov and writerep.house.gov and others where you can reach both senators and reps.

I hope this clarifies a bit. Thanks.

PS - the above was a search for "links in Post" in the Support Section: http://en.support.wordpress.com/ and was to top item

I'm not sure I understand your question: what else can a link be if not some text you click on? Perhaps we could clear this up if you give us an example: a couple of webpages you want to link to, and what exactly you'd like your page to display.
