Hi,

When I created my WordPress account, and chose my them, it came with a 'Home' page. I created a post on the Home page. Thereafter, when I click on the Pages item of the dashboard and go to All Pages, I don't see the Home page as one of the pages. However, the post that I created appears in that page. Please let me know how I can get this page back on All Pages item of the Pages menu.

Thanks,
What's the idea of changing pages when it concerns the (first) post?

And, if possible, can the footer be implemented on the Home-screen by some CSS-ing?

Since wordpress foisted the "infinite scrolling onto us unsuspecting bloggers yesterday, there is not a footer widget area on the twenty ten or eleven theme on the site main page anymore. This has angered more than a couple bloggers here, but unless about 25,000,000 more post that they hate it, it is unlikely to change.

My suggestion, switch to a theme other than twenty eleven or twenty ten and then hope they don't roll this albatross into all the other themes here.

The single post page (gotten to from clicking on a post title or the comment link in a post) does not display the sidebar in the theme you are using. That is the way the author designed the theme you are using. Your visitors can get back to the main post page by clicking on the blog header image/title (standard feature on the web) or by clicking on their browser back button.

That function is built into the theme you are using. Even CSS won't change it. You could explain in each post that the title will take the reader back to the home/front page, or switch to another theme. Most themes keep the sidebar on pages, posts, and single post view.

Ok, how do I keep my side bar while people navigate pages and posts, I common complaint I get on my blog is that when people click from on a post, they have trouble figuring out how to navigate back, however my concern is that by loosing the side bar, if someone is linked to a page by lets say google, they will not see my contact widget.

Is there a way to have my widgets continue to show/make the side bar appear on more than just my main page http://thebrn.wordpress.com

I updated my sidebar code in an attempt to get Blogroll to show up on all pages - sitewide. This sort of worked as blogroll now does appear on all pages. But as I update Blogroll (add links) they are not shown on all pages the same, i.e. the Blogroll looks different on home page versus category page etc. And yes I did hit refresh. Maybe there is a more elegant way to code this?

<?php /* If this is on any page */ if ( is_home() || is_page() || is_single() || is_category() ) { ?>
