The site linked to your WordPress.COM username is not a free hosted WordPress.COM blog. Please fix that.

WordPress.com SEO is very good and there is no need for any SEO the plugin. If you had two identical sites, one hosted here and one self-hosted using that same plugin, the site hosted here would have better SEO than the self-hosted site. WordPress.com has huge SEO and you get the benefit of that by having your site as a "subdomain" here. Please read this > http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2013/03/22/seo-on-wordpress-com/

WordPress.com offers a much more secure, no maintenance platform for people who want to concentrate on content. In return, it means you can't add active code like plugins. And WP.com puts ads on our blogs and keeps the income; this is why there's no charge for your hosting.

If you'd prefer, as you point out you can buy hosting, install software from WordPress.org, and away you go. It sounds like what you want to blog for is not what WordPress.com is built for, so it's not the platform for you.

Why are there no plugins for WordPress.com? It makes no sense because anyone can easily just self-host their blog with WordPress.org, or even Blogger.

Also, why can't we use ads? It's not like WordPress is paying us. It's the company we got the ads from (AdSense, Amazon, Chitika, etc.), isn't it?

So which self-pay option do you choose on your "store" that would allow me to do this? None of your options mention being an Amazon Associate. One of the options I read said "No Ads" which I know means from you all. I don't have ads on my websites through WP and never have and I don't pay for it so this is all very confusing.

The software is stripping the code out as there are no Amazon stores allowed and in fact no blogger initiated advertising of any kind is allowed on a free hosted WordPress.com blog.

There is only one advertising program called WordAds at WordPress.com and it’s for blogs on their own domains. Aside from a blog being accepted into WordAds http://www.wordads.co/ no blogger initiated advertising, retailing or reselling the work or products created or services provided by anyone other than yourself is allowed on free hosted wordpress.com blogs.

E-commerce transactions via shopping carts and the like cannot be conducted on free blogs from and being free hosted by WordPress.com. Paid content and/or sponsored content is not allowed.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/advertising/
http://en.wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/affiliate-links/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/suspended-blogs/
http://en.wordpress.com/tos/

The only very narrow exception is found here in italics:

Blogs that violate our advertising policy or fall into one of the following categories are not allowed on WordPress.com:
Affiliate marketing blogs: Blogs with the primary purpose of driving traffic to affiliate programs and get-rich-quick schemes (“Make six figures from home!!”, “20 easy steps to top profits!!”, etc). This includes multi-level marketing (MLM) blogs and pyramid schemes. To be clear, people writing their own original book, movie or game reviews and linking them to Amazon, or people linking to their own products on Etsy do NOT fall into this category. Here is a thread in the support forums that talks more about which affiliate links are OK or not OK.

On free hosted WordPress.com blog we can use a contact form and/or a PayPal donation button for sale of only products or services created or provided by ourselves.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/paypal/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact-form/

There is no upgrade you can purchase from WordPress.com that changes any of that. If you do require an ecommerce site, advertising, affiliate links, paid or sponsored content you can hire a web host and get a free software install from http://wordpress.org
Refer to > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
