Friends are complaining they are unable to see my blog from their IPad and when using Android OS. They say the page scroll function doesnt function. I have no IPad and cant try this. Is this a known problem?

Thanks so much csonnek. When they check and fix it for Android, they can kindly check for WIndows Phone and Blackberry browsers too and fix it if possible.

Hi there!

I have an Android device and I confirm that the mobile stylesheet isn't loading in either Safari or Chrome.

I'll get in touch with the theme developers and I'll get back to you once I have more information.

Thanks thesacredpath. I hope they respond. They ask for screenshots but they can check it themselves at their end. Can you or someone else with an android phone confirm that it does not load the mobile theme on Android browsers also. I guess they will believe it and fix it faster if others can confirm it.

Hmmm, I'm afraid this is beyond us volunteers, but I will tag this thread for staff attention and hopefully someone will respond shortly and look into it.

I will note that the mobile theme is separate and independent of the main theme, but then again, P2 is sort of an odd ball compared to standard type themes here, so I don't know. I can confirm I'm not seeing any titles either on my iPhone in Safari on 6.1.2.

Greetings.

(1) My P2 blogs are hosted on WordPress.com at http://nitaigaurkriya.com and http://nitaigaurdharma.com. They do not load the mobile template for any browser on Android including the default one like it does for Safari on the iPhone iOS. This seems to be a major bug in the P2 theme since android mobiles are selling more than iphones. I will not buy an upgrade if this cannot be fixed since I want to my blogs to load mobile versions on all cheaper android phones as well and I want to use the P2 theme only.

(2) It does not show the post titles at all in the mobile version on the iphone 6.1 iOS safari browser. It just shows the header of author name of the left and reply on the right above each post content. The post titles have vanished. Please fix this bug.

(3) The Community widget has a bug in the P2 theme since it shows only one column on thumbnails instead of the normal two in other themes in the sidebar and thus it is unusable. This needs to be fixed.

I would appreciate some help here since I was thinking of a business upgrade.

You can put posts from many WordPress.com blogs into one by exporting from the blogs you will no longer be using and importing into the new blog. See http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/ for details of import and export.

As for themes that work well with Android and mobiles, I use Coraline and I am happy with the way that displays - though I couldn't tell you if it is the best. It displays the menu in a very usable way in mobile browsers

What app is available for androids and which is the best theme to use in conjunction with mobiles. It really would be helpful if we had a plug-in that would let all of our Android App users know when there has been a "NEW" blog post with a push notification. A Plugin that is very ez to configure, by adding my reg. email and GCM ID#.. Hopfuly we can get one soon.. Very Soon.

The blog works great on my PC. On my Droid 4G Motorola smart phone the embedded mov movie clips do not play. I just get the thumbnail picture and control bar.

I have it in my wordpress.com PC Blog account. I assumed it would also apply on my droid. All I get is the thumbnail picture and the control bar. My picture uploads work fine.

I am having a problem with floating upgrade banners all over my posts when I try to edit them. I need to take a screenshot so I can demonstrate what is happening, but there are no tips on how to do this on an android. Can it be done?

I had a look at http://whitbnimble.wordpress.com/2012/10/10/weekly-photo-challenge-happy/on my Galaxy Ace and indeed the Gallery is broken up. Only two images visible of the 5 in the Gallery you posted.

In the announcement about the new Gallery types, they mentioned that the Image Carousel has been enabled for mobile, but didn't mention anything about the new Gallery types. Probably best to post this in the Android forums. http://android.forums.wordpress.org/

Also, it doesn't look as though you've enabled the Image Carousel on your site as clicking on any image opens the image Attachment page. If you wish to enable the Image Carousel, you'll need to check the box in Dashboard>Settings>Media>Image Gallery Carousel.

Also, did you enable the mobile theme under Dashboard>Appearance>Mobile?

I'd also like to make an observation about your image sizes. At the moment it looks like you are uploading full-size images straight out of your camera. This will eat up your 3GB storage in a flash and image quality suffers when images are resized to fit the front page, post or image carousel, not to mention slower loading time for folks visiting with a less than speedy connection. Before uploading, it's best to resize your images in an image editing program to the pixel width mentioned at the bottom of the Theme's Showcase page http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/forever/ and in case you need it

I inserted a gallery (one of the fancy new tile galleries) into my post 'Weekly Photo Challenge: Happy', but the gallery looks terrible on my mobile phone. I'm viewing it on my Galaxy S2, so it's Android. My theme is "Forever" for my blog. Can you help me make the necessary changes so that the tile galleries look great with the mobile theme. If not, I can't continue to use them. :(
