There is one other option available to you, though. You can purchase a domain name and map that back to your WordPress.com blog. In that case, nobody would ever see the underlying WordPress.com URL. They would just see your purchased domain. For full details, please see:

You can change the name displayed on your posts and comments by changing the "display name" on your Personal Settings admin panel:

The problem is:
And i want to change my 2nd account (thethomassimo) to thomassimo (and change my blog address to thomassimo.wordpress.com)..

Is it possible???

If you let your domain expire, there is no guarantee it will be released back into the pool of available domain names for re-registration. You have up to 18 days of "grace period" in which you can renew your domain at the regular price. It might eventually re-enter the pool of domain names for re-registration, but there's no guarantee, as it could be first sold so someone who's back-ordered the domain.

If you want to keep the domain but not your site, you could set your site to private under Settings > Reading. That way, you'd still be able to log into your administration area to manage your domain, but the site would be hidden from people and search engines.

Just as a suggestion, it would make things 100 times easier if you just had a straightforward Delete button for everything instead of having things so complicated.

There is a disagreement or falling out and poof, the blog is gone.

When I try to use the username/email that I used for my first account wordpress won't let me. It says "SORRY that username already exists". Sooo frustrating.

What do I do? Is this just a temporary problem that wordpress will fix?

I would like to ask you something I couldn't find around the web.

I have wordpress installed on my server, and I would like to implement a store on myserver.com/store.

However, when I put an index.php file on /store, the website tries to find a wordpress page from my main website (i'm using permalink)!!

How can I avoid this problem? I want to have another application on that folder without disabling my main website permalink settings.

Has anyone faced this issue? I would appreciate any help!
