Today I started using Twenty ten theme with my wordpress free blog, but on the (Arabic edition) You must translate those words to Arabic:
1- Continue reading.
2- Older posts.
3- Posted on.
4- Posted in.
5- Response to.
6- View all posts by.
7- Rate this.

These are the words needs to translate to Arabic, on Twenty ten theme.
And can you also change (Continue reading) to (Next page), because opening page over page in slow Internet connections like what have in Libya, and must of the third world make it is very hard for working (what I mean is to open one page every time).

Note: If you need any help for translating to Arabic, I can help you.

Finally I hope I will see the changes very soon, to make Twenty ten speaks Arabic too.

I am using zBench Theme in Arabic, but it missing changing the words on top of every post and page to Arabic:
1- "Posted by" to : "نشر بواسطة"
2- "Edit" to: "تحرير"
So can WordPress team do that with this Theme, to make it look more good on the Arabic edition.

The URL should be converted to unicode like that, but something should be displaying. We're looking into it.

For example:

or

the link turns into this:
http://ar.wordpress.com/#!/read/topic/%d8%b9%d8%a7%d9%85/
and the page loads nothing!

Well, when I click any Arabic tag whether in ar.wordpress.com reader page or type it in the English one it doesn't work. The page loads nothing..

Whenever I click an Arabic tag, whether in ar.wordpress.com or the original English site, it never works!

It is in Arabic language. My questions are:

1. How can I add the (Read More...) or (Continue Reading...) link for my long posts? Is there a plugin or a specific code for that?

2.Can I make it show in my language (Arabic)?

3. And also, can I choose the place exactly where this link should show (i.e., after the 7th line of the post, or after the 4th line in an other post)?

This is my first time blogging so it would be great if you guys could check out the posts on my blog. I try to differentiate my blog from many other travel blogs that are primarily pictures by providing you guys with insights and reflections into a culture that can only be truly appreciated by an extended stay.

Hi @ssacsun,

I was able to reproduce this issue on another blog. It appears to be an issue with the poll when used in a sidebar with Mystique's right-to-left stylesheet. We are looking into a fix and will post back here when one is found.

Hi @ssacsun,

I did some investigation, and the issue is caused by the Polldaddy poll inside this post: http://ssacsun.net/2011/10/18/555/ . The poll code is adding a large left margin on the poll, which is causing the empty space on the left.

I've informed our team about this, and as soon as we have a fix, I'll let you know.

That is strange and I can't figure out why that is happening. I've tagged this thread to have it moved to the themes forum where hopefully one of the theme team will see it and figure out what is happening. It appears to happen anywhere there is a block of text.

Well, the problem is:

I blog in Arabic, and I have decided to use "Ratings" for comments and posts, so I went to:
Ratings -> Comments -> Advanced Settings -> Customize Labels

You know, I need to change the Labels from English to Arabic, let's take this for example:
English: "Rate this", Arabic: "تقييمك؟".

In the "Preview" section, it shows me the Arabic text in the correct form, but after saving it, it will be changed to: "u062au0642u064au064au0645u0643u061f"!
The same story happens whenever I try to change any English text, it seems like it accepts only the Latin characters.

Please guys, if anyone knows how to fix this bug or how can I can contact WP team to solve it.

That does sound more than likely. I recommend getting in touch with the kind folks over at http://wordpress.org/support/ to see if they have any recommendation for fixing up your encoding site-wide before exporting.

It was already UTF-8, thus, I don't think the problem is in the encoding of the interface because I've already tried to view the exported XML file in different encodings including UTF-8 and all the attempts fail to view Arabic content in the correct form.

Actually, I've suffered same problem long time ago when I had a database tables in one encoding, an interface in another encoding, and may or may not be input in a third encoding. I think I've to unify the encoding among all of these layers in both blogs or at least have the right encoding while importing which match the same one while exporting, and this can't be done without a help of a wordpress internal programmer and/or wordpress.com db administrator.
