I have two blogs on domains and what you describe is normal. You are mapping from an underlying .wordpress.com blog and that's where the content is housed, so the URLs for attachments and media files are .wordpress.com URLs.

Hello,

I've upgraded my account, and am using a custom .net url. However, the attachments (image and pdfs) that I have uploaded since then are using http://theartofparties.files.wordpress.com/...

How can I have the attachments use the .net address? (This is the whole point of getting a custom url, right?)

Thanks.
