Me too. Just did the same thing. Had to create a fake account because I can't get into my paid account, and apparently can't contact support without having a paid account, which I HAVE, but can't get into to contact support from.

Super frustrating. Need help. My original blog is champaignflavor.com or champaignflavor.wordpress.com .

I too have lost access to my WordPress account, after someone deleted my Google Authenticator. I need to access my blog asap and anything you can do to help is much appreciated.

Hi everyone,

I feel really naïve having done this accidentally, but I unintentionally lost access to my WordPress account after deleting Google Authenticator. I thought that my account was also linked to my phone number as a backup means of verification via SMS, but apparently that is not the case.

I would really, really appreciate any help you could give me, and I will be absolutely sure to create back-up codes the next time I do this! (Also, feel free to make fun of my 2-Step Authentication newbie fail.)

FYI: The username of the account I lost access to is the same as this one but without the “blah.”

The new JetPack Comments is very nice :). And it's just what I asked for. These apply just as much to wordpress.com

* Add ability to customize which third party login options will be enabled. (I don't like promoting facebook)
* Fold the new comment theme, Click to comment thing into WordPress proper. This way others can tie into properly.

New Auth options (in order I'd like to see):
* Google Account
* BrowserID / Mozilla Persona
* OpenID
