I'm just started blogging again on wordpress and really enjoy it. But one thing i find frustrating is that the visitor stats is shown everywhere i go in what i guess is the admin bar. So is it possible to remove the stats from the admin bar?

I'm just blogging for fun i don't care at all about the stats so it's kind of annoying to see them all the time.

I'm another complete novice to all of this.

My site is http://www.jetnikoff.com

I would like the website to expand the page and not sit centred. I recently made a child theme to remove the search bar from my twenty eleven theme.
I accidentally didn't comment it out properly and acheived spanning the nav bar across the page and removing the background (which I'm ok with). This is what I had

<!<?php
// Has the text been hidden?
if ( 'blank' == get_header_textcolor() ) :
?>
<div class="only-search<?php if ( $header_image ) : ?> with-image<?php endif; ?>">
<?php get_search_form(); ?>
</div>
<?php
else :
?>
<?php get_search_form(); ?>
<?php endif; ?>-->
Obviously I forgot to open the comment out properly by omitting the
--

But this left me with the search box moved and the nav bar expanding.

Once I opened the comment out properly, the search bar went and my nav bar went back to being centred and two lines. I'd love to have all the nav on one line.
I've tried moving the commenting out around in the header.php but can't work out how to replicate it with the search bar gone.
Any ideas?

Thanks so much for reading.

Hello WP,

I just made the switch from WP.com to WordPress.org because I would like to install a custom theme from ThemeForest. Even though I acquired the domain name http://isaiasgarcia.com from WP.com, I'm now hosting it via DreamHost. However, I went back to my dashboard and the PLUGIN bar still doesn't show. I chose the one-click installation from DreamHost and it said it had also already installed the latest version, WordPress 3.5.1

Could it be because I only purchased the domain On April 2 and I have to wait 60 days before the domain properly transfers to another host?

I would really appreciate the help. =)
Sincerely,
Isaias

That's a guaranteed way to mess things up when you're not an expert.

The solution suggested by designsimply (in the thread timethief linked to) is correct, of course, but it may not work if you simply copypaste it into the editor will at the same time retaining all the original stuff. For instance, at the moment you've got both of these in your CSS:

#branding .only-search + #access div {
    padding-right: 205px;
}
#branding .only-search + #access div {
    padding-right: 0;
}

So you should start by reverting to the Add-on mode, and enter only the changes you make.
For example, you had changed only the font size of #access ul. Under the Add-on mode, you'll add only this:

#access ul {
	font-size: 20px;
}

And when designsimply tells you that one of the changes you need in order to center the menu is this:

#access ul {
	display: inline-block;
	margin: 0;
	padding: 0;
}

you won't paste the whole thing, you'll add the rules under the selector you have already added:

#access ul {
	font-size: 20px;
	display: inline-block;
	margin: 0;
	padding: 0;
}

Alternately, from the stats page you can click on "My Blogs" in the navigation bar and then click "Blog Admin" under the name of the blog.

I don't have a navigator bar on every page of my wordpress.com account, like I use to.

there is a new blue bar...
the new post but it leads to some blog posting system option without a HTML (text) editor.

Is this on everyones account? do I need to fill out a support ticket?

I hoping that the administrator/Navigator bar will be back on ALL account pages soon?

I cannot easily navigate to the edit "New Post" page (the Html Editor tab - the REAL post editor) , nor find my new comment queue -- from the Stats page.

I have to load another page just get to the most useful pages.

This is because the bar is missing on many pages.

Does anyone know what going on with the Admin/Nav bar?
