I renewed my domain today and when I tried to pay, it said that I had an error 1001. When I checked my bank account, it had charged me twice when I only clicked the pay button once and that error 1001 thing popped up. I need to know how to get my money back! This is not cool and I am very upset because it was a WordPress error and not my fault! Someone please help.

I surely hope you are not going to charge me repeatedly for every extra strike on the pay now. I had to borrow the money ($10) from a friend and that is all there is in my account. I felt after hearing all your information that this truly was not another internet scam, so I'm putting my faith in you that only one $9.95 charge shows up in my account.

You have two separate email address settings at WordPress.com.

Blog notifications for the admin (like comment moderation, Likes, new subscriptions, etc) are sent to the email address at Settings -> General in the Dashboard.

Personal notifications (like comments on your post, subscription emails, and upgrade renewals) are sent to the email address at Users -> Personal Settings in the Dashboard.
