To change the basic link color in the Mixfolio theme, add the following to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor and click the Preview button to see how it will look:

If you want to override, add a:visited to your links style, like this:

Unchecking the box only causes the "Load More Posts" button to show up; it does not affect the number of posts that show on the homepage.

FWIW-my test blog is doing the same thing. No matter how many posts I've set to show on the front page (at the moment 2) and having "To Infinity and Beyond" unchecked in Reading Settings, my test blog still shows 8 posts.

So, it would seem that this is a change.

I have a problem with the maximum shown entries using the theme Blaskan: it was set to a maximum of 1 but today has changed to 7 without my intervention.

The infinite scroll is off, but looking at the forum I have seen that the problem of the maximum number of entries misconfiguration can be solved by installing an empty text widget in the footer, which completely disables infinite scroll option. I did, but still the same.

I have also deleted cookies and history in case it was my browser problem but nothing.

Keep showing 7 entries. Looks like Blaskan default was infinite scroll without possibility of changing.

Can you help me please? I loved when he showed one post only.

The border attribute is (surprise, surprise) the border - one pixel wide, dashed, grey. You can change all of these. As many pixels as you want (one seems to fit your overall look); I chose "dashed" for the sample code, but you can choose between it, dotted, and solid. You can define a hex value color instead of a predetermined shade (it would look like border: 1px dashed #0F0F0F; for example).

You can also change the border attribute to "border-left" and it will only show up on the left side of the sidebar, making it more like a dividing line. I would increase the padding (to 8px or higher). It's cleaner in my opinion, but whatever you ultimately choose will look fine.

Any ideas on how to put a border around either the widgets or the posts? There's nothing but some white space to separate the two.

That said, I'm guessing your tag line is set in a div with a CSS selector. Mine is #site-description, so I'll use that for my example.

You want to center the div, not just the text within the div, so set a width for your div (it may already have one; that's fine) and then set the left and right margins to "auto." Something like this:
