I checked out your account, and what I am seeing for the blog http://phantasmphotography.wordpress.com/ is the 'Phantasm Photography' name. I see this both on the actual blog, and in the Dashboard for the blog.

If you are still seeing a different name, can you take a screenshot, upload it to your media library, and let me know?

I think that means I'm not the owner, but how do I tell? I don't know who originally set up the blog because it's been more than two years, which means they've graduated.

I would not do any of what you suggest. Traffic does not just happen and changing your blog title won't help. There is no such thing as passive blog pronotion. Please read this article OMG! I can’t find my blog on Google and become aware of the factors that expedite indexing of my content by search engines.

I want to change the blog name as listed in the "My Blogs" menu, because I created two blogs with similar names and I can't tell them apart. I don't want to delete the blogs as I want the subdomain associated with them (ie xxx.wordpress.com).

There are two blogs in the dropdown list. I want to change their names as listed in the "My Blogs" menu.

Please list the steps to change their internal names.
