Upgrade to the latest version of wordpress immediately if not sooner. Make sure and do a full backup beforehand through your cPanel (if your host has that).

I just fixed 3 hacked blogs that were using 2.7 and it cost the client a bundle for my time.

I'm trying to look at my blog stats, but when I login to the WordPress.com account the dashboard menu only has two items listed under it: "Dashboard" and "Akismet Stats."

From reading the page below from the Support site, it seems like there should be more links underneath the word dashboard:

Blog stats, Blog Surfer, My Comments, Readomattic, Tag Surfer, My Blogs, Subscriptions.

None of those things are in the dashboard? What's up?

I am currently using WordPress 2.7.1, if that makes a difference.

Any help would be appreciated.

You are correct in thinking that your visits to your own blog will not be counted, provided you are signed into wordpress.com when you visit. I have so few visitors that I would notice if I had a spike of 4 visitors in just a few minutes.

And I don't usually visit my blog that way - in fact, I think it's a new feature, or it's more accessible now so it seems new to me, so I've never done it before.
