You're having issues because of the stupid design: huge font in a narrow column with an extremely large right padding. This needs to be fixed by WP.

I established my own WordPress blog here: http://bukhamseen.net

It is in Arabic language. My questions are:

1. How can I add the (Read More...) or (Continue Reading...) link for my long posts? Is there a plugin or a specific code for that?

2.Can I make it show in my language (Arabic)?

3. And also, can I choose the place exactly where this link should show (i.e., after the 7th line of the post, or after the 4th line in an other post)?

My headers on the Twenty Eleven theme on http://onecoolsitebloggingtips and on http://thistimethisspace.com have gone AWOL.

1. On this time - this space I tried to set the header which was in the Media Library and it did work. It's there now.

2. On one cool site I tried to set the header which was in the Media Library but was not succesful. I deleted it from the Media Library and uploaded it again. Now it's there but I don't know why the new "set the header" did not work on it.

I usually make it slightly bigger than 1000.

I am having exactly the same issue. I designed a new header as a jpeg, it's exactly 1000x288 and it deletes itself a few hours after loading. I've reverted back to my original header, but created the new one for a reason!

I'm interested to know the answer, as this is the first glitch I've encountered in my year with WordPress.com!

Hi everybody,

So I've started my blog, etc. and customized things to my satisfaction. My only issue is the custom header image I'm using breaks after a matter of hours. I've deleted and re-uploaded it several times now and always with the same results.

The dimensions are exactly 1000X288 and the size is only 127kb. It's a .jpg file. So could this be the image or the theme that's at fault? Or am I making an error somewhere?

Should I make the dimensions a bit bigger and then crop it down? Or just create a new header from scratch?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I want to add some extra space before and after a heading for easier reading in my posts. Odd thing happens then : I insert

Shift-return produces a standard line break, not a paragraph break. Paragraph breaks are produced by pressing "return" without the shift modifier key.

Start by switching the editor to HTML and removing the address and blockquote tags.

I cannot figure this out, I have tried over and over using the visual editor, inserting html, everything. I cannot get a paragraph space where I want it on this page:

Down under the "Order Print Version" button, I want to make that very next line of text that begins "If you prefer to order the print version directly..." as a new paragraph. But nothing I do makes it so, WordPress just strips out any <p> or
