WordPress.com does not allow you to embed iframes into posts.

The videos guide that sl1k linked to details the video platforms we currently support--in short, we support our own VideoPress, as well as YouTube, Vimeo, DailyMotion, and some other content providers.

The videos/media are in the new iFrame format (MTV videos and Chatango group chat).

I know they are compatible because I see them on many other WordPress blogs. I am not sure if it is the Oxygen theme or maybe I need to add some CSS rules to allow the theme to show these instead of the pile of broken code that shows up.

What can I do? Thanks!

PS: I also need help with alignment in full-page width mode.

Went to edit two pages of my blog and random formating code was messed up... moving from one word or phrase to the whole rest of the document. Restoring from previous archived versions had no effect, or rather, caused the archived copies to have the same errors. When I removed the improper code, it removed all of my hyperlinks and formatting on both pages. Lots of work just POOF gone. Thanks a lot...

You cannot use h1 in the body of a post as it is not allowed by the doctype.

Also your spans for the lines should be "p" tags, or you will have to put them inside p tags since span tags cannot exist on their own. They have to be contained in a pair of p tags.

New Features: Linking, Sorting, Paging
Oh my! It’s that time of year again, when the folks over at WordPress.org start putting the finishing touches on the next version...

The new features went live, the post at the WordPress blog went up and appeared as a notice in our dashboards and then this problem with saving work and tags, links, etc. disappearing from them started happening. I've tried restoring to an earlier version of a draft post I was working on, but at the next save, it's all gone again.

In the 4 years I've blogged here, I've notice when new features go live, sometimes wonky things happen. I've found the best thing to do is chill... and come back later (or since it's 10:30 pm for me... tomorrow) when usually they've sorted it out for us.
