If the ads you see are found at the end of blog posts then provided you see this small About These Ads link what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising.

These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser. WordPress.com does not use text enhance or text link ads or pop-up ads or header ads or sidebar ads or links in comments. If you are seeing those then see here:

advertising links attached to words in my blog... and in your help section. A few words (such as listen, range,, document) appear suddenly in grey and are underlined, just like links. When I click on them it offers me to win a mobile phone. It is annoying, and I would like to protect my site from unwanted advertising. If it's only me who is pestered, I can deal with it, but I don't want my readers to see it.
Any ideas?
I think I can help with that. When you see ad at the end of blog posts then provided you see this small About These Ads link http://en.wordpress.com/about-these-ads/ what you are seeing is WordPress.com generated advertising.
