Sounds like links are being added by your browser - then your browser blocks the ads it just added!

You probably have a browser add-on that is adding the ad links - disable it and things should work

The ads you refer to are not placed on your site by WordPress.com. They are being placed there by software on your own computer. These ads are sometimes caused by malware or a virus, but more often it is due to a browser extension or toolbar that you may have installed in your browser.

Those ads are put there by a malicious browser add-on that you've enabled. Disable ALL your browser extensions and re-enable them one by one till the ads re-appear.
