You can target the id or class of the element which you want to style.
There are different attributes you can use. You can use something like Firebug to look up the element, and then decide against which you want to write the code. The code below focusses on this specific widget, and then the class for this menu item.

Should you delete the menu item or put the menu item in a different menu, for example, you would have to change the CSS code below to adjust for that.
#nav_menu-5 li.menu-item-85 {
display: list-item;
list-style-type: disc;
margin-left: 26px;
}
Also earlier on in the CSS the display type for list items (li) was set to display:block causing the list-style-type not to show. Setting the display to list item allowed the list element to have a bullet point in front of it.

Please feel free to change the margin to something you like.

Hello

I want to add a bullet point to just one menu item in the side bar - the link "Paul Kleiman". I have custom design. Could you please advise how I can do this?

I think it is a bit of code I need to input into the CSS sheet. I have seen code which can be used to bullet point a whole menu, but not code for a single item.

Thanks for your help.

Apologies for the double post.

Here is how it looks once you click on to a specific post:

It would seem as though only the Home page suffers from this 'bug'.

Theme: Grid Focus
No paid upgrades/alterations

For some reason the list of posts ('Archive') on my blog randomly lose their bullet points and bunch up as a horrible mass of text. It has been on and off for over a year and I'm finally posting a help topic because of how annoyingly buggy the theme/Wordpress seems to be.

Just in case it has decided to 'fix' itself randomly (for the nth time), here's a screenshot of the problem this topic is hopeful to solve:

Remember that the visual editor is not WYSIWYG. It is just a Rich Text Editor and as such does not pull any styling information (in most cases) from the theme CSS files which means any special formatting in the theme for posts or pages will not be reflected in the editor (such as the >> for unordered lists.

As that's the way the Kubrick theme is coded to display. If this is important to you then you have two options. The first is to switch to a theme that depicts bullet points in the style you like. The second is to purchase an annually renewable custom design upgrade and use the required CSS editing to make the change.
