All the links will be broken and produce a 404 (page not found) when clicked.

The URLs will revert to .wordpress.com URLs. All authority and pagerank the blog earned under the domain URL will be gone and it will take about 3 months or so for search engines to index the content again under the .wordpress.com URLs.

You have a couple of immediate options to remove the upgrade yourself (see http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/#troubleshooting and the second to last question "I’m on the Delete Site page, but I see a message that the site can’t be deleted.").

To cancel the domain outright, without transferring it and thus losing it, staff can assist there.

If you are looking to use your domain to point to another website, you do not need to cancel it. You can change the nameservers to point to another web host if need be.

As timethief mentioned, it can take a long time for a domain to be released once it is cancelled, and very often someone will scoop it up before you can re-register it.

Also note the registrar does not have to offer the domain name for sale at all. They own it and can do with it whatever they wish to do with it. It won't take too long for your counters to grow again.

If we cancel the domain, it can take up to several weeks, and we can't guarantee that your domain will be available to you again once canceled.

If you want to keep using your domain but you don't want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don't have to cancel it.

Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

If you do want to cancel your ownership of the hadzhiev.com domain, please reply to confirm.

The counters are provided by the social networks and work on the URL.

As you have changed your URL by adding a domain, there are effectively no shares for the new URLs.

Have you checked your PayPal account to see if the funds are there? If the payment was canceled before it cleared, then the funds wouldn't have been withdrawn from your bank account. If the payment was canceled after it cleared, the funds should have been returned to your PayPal account.
