I deleted the one I had here and changed my username, so I can let it go but after talking to a few people, I realized I made a mistake. I should have this blog here!

I tried changing my username back to my original one, but the system is not letting me - it says the name is already used by someone. That someone is me, I just don't know how to get back there. Can anyone help me get this back as well as restore my blog?

Selecting “Change example.wordpress.com to match my new username and discard the old address” will change the address of your current blog. If your new user name is newusername, your blog’s address will be changed to newusername.wordpress.com

I would like to change my existing username of 'jkdavidson' to be the same as my profile name 'roseparks', so that web address of posts would be http://roseparks.wordpress.com instead of http://jkdavidson.wordpress.com. However I would also like all existing posts to be moved across to the new username. Does this happen automatically when changing the username. I do not want to start a new blog.

Please note I do not want to do the easier option of changing my profile name.

Unfortunately, you question is off topic in this thread. There is no blogger created content to delete in the blog linked to your username. If you are referring to another free hosted WordPress.com blog you can bulk delete the contents yourself:
