Hey guys...

I'm using wordpress from the wordpress.com control panel, have very little technical knowledge about editing theme files and all this kind of thing, so if you need me to do anything like that I'll need you to walk me through it step by step... if you'll be so kind.

Basically, all I want to do is for the blog to be displayed with the first post appearing first. Is this ascending or descending order? I think it's descending. Anyway, so I have posted 9 posts to a new blog tonight, and it's showing them the most recent first.

How can I alter this?

I could have sworn there used to be a simple option to do it in the menu...
There are options to do some crazy things I don't even understand, but not to reverse the order of the posts!!!

Anyway,
please help :-)

I'm pretty new so sorry for not understanding exactly what I'm looking for. I'm using the mixfolio theme, which I very much like, but am wondering if there is a way to change the order of my posts so the Oldest is always first?

Is that something I would have to do by purchasing customization? or is there a way to change the post order in the dashboard?

Thanks for any help!

Is it possible to post in chrono order, i.e., beginning several months ago and continuing until now, and then pick up with the ongoing posts?
Blogs are essentially a reverse chronological order publishing tool and you cannot change this order on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. Posts will be posted to your blog in accord with their datestamps at publication. WordPress by default shows posts in reverse chronological order (newest post on top).

Okay, thanks for the info. My blog was just for a trip I took and I will not be adding to it. Now I just want it to be something friends and family can read in the order the trip occurred. But thank you for answering my question that this is not possible. Have a great day!
