Do you perhaps mean that you used to host a website through Yahoo but you've moved the site to WordPress?

If so, you'll still need to obtain email hosting service from a provider, whether Yahoo or another company, since WordPress.com doesn't provide email hosting directly.

You can read more here about how to add email on your custom domain.

Also just a heads up that the DNS records you've currently entered in your DNS area will not work, since as I mentioned, WordPress.com doesn't itself provide email service or MX records.

If you continue to use Yahoo just for email, you'll need to get the MX records from them and enter them instead.

There was a verification code given by yahoo to input in wordpress, this doesn't appear to be working. I've sent Yahoo many mails for support but no response. I guess they are not happy I'm moving my domain :(

Has anyone experienced this before? What is the solution?

would really appreciate any help/suggestions.

We found that http://www.hollybutlerphotography.com is configured with a CNAME record pointing to hollybutlerphotography.com, which does not resolve to the Zenfolio IP address. You need to configure http://www.hollybutlerphotography.com with a CNAME record pointing to custom.zenfolio.com.

I read and properly did the CNAME address for the blogger site onto my wordpress domain's DNS, but it won't allow me to put the A address and ip for blogger/google in wordpress (A records are for subdomains only. We reserve the mapped domain's A records.) but doing this is what lets me connect my naked domain to the www domain- which i need because in blogger the publishing blog address can't be a naked domain it has to have www of it. If i don't do this though people will be redirected from my blogger to http://www.wordpress.com and will get the error404 message. I really hope someone knows what I am talking about I know this sounds very confusing.,

You will need to log into your domain registrar and update the nameservers for your domain to update your nameservers.

If you are comfortable deleting the IP address, you can do so (I would copy it down first somewhere safe, in case you find you need to add it back in).

Remember that it can take up to 48 hours for the changes to propagate (although it usually takes much less time).
