one of the big reasons why i like bueno is that there is no border around the photos but all of a sudden they are there???

also, the colours seems to keep changing even though i specified a colours.

what gives?? anyone else experiencing weirdness with their blog?

Change the numbers to decrease the thickness and change the color. For color palettes and hex numbers you can consult this page:

Or paste this to remove the border altogether (but I don't think this is the best solution):

As I'm saying in the post I linked to, you'll be able to answer such questions yourself if you learn to use Firebug in Firefox.

So, to change the border of the header image, add this in the CSS editor (it will also allow you to change the thickness and/or the style of the border, if you wish):

#header-image img {
border: 5px solid #BA0707
}

I'm a complete beginner at CSS and although I've had a go and managed to do a couple of things, I'm now completely stuck. I want to experiment with a coloured border around an image or two and I'm trying first with the image on my header. Here is the CSS code that I thought would give me a red border (or at least using the same colour as my links):

border-color: #ba0707
}

When I press 'Save' it doesn't change anything at all. Can someone help please? Also is there a way of previewing changes because all I can see how to do is either 'Save' or 'Cancel'! Sorry if these are rookie questions; but the fact is I am indeed a rookie! Many thanks!

It's possible to override the color contrast rules using custom CSS. Here is an example that adjusts all of the things Custom colors adjusts for link and heading color, except you need to copy and paste it into your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:

These commands should override the standard CSS of the Imbalance 2 theme. If they don't work, then let me know and I'll try to find another solution.

In the mean time, you can always override a color choice like that with the CSS editor. For example, add the following to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor to change the content area background color:

#page {
    background: #F7F3EE;
}

You can also change the color code to something else if you'd like:

This appears to be a bug when changing with the Custom Colors feature, and I'll report this to our developers so they can take a closer look.
