I have selected:

*allow people to post comments on new articles

*Comment author must fill out name and email

* user must be registered and logged in to comment

If I unselect the 3rd “user must registered” all users are able to comment after the comment has been approved by admin. After I check “user must registered..” registered users are still unable to comment.

I have tried to this and right when Im about to click on comment after leaving a message on the post nothing happens… I’ve tried 4 different browsers and 2 different PCs in which on them is a mac.

Not sure what to do from this point. Please help

One of my commenters commented on a post, saying that after their initial comment they clicked the 'Notify me when new feedback are added' checkbox and now every time a comment is added they receive four emails with identical comments. Firstly, could you tell me how to unsubscribe that person from the notification service (or should I tell them they need to do it manually, as is it right the blogger cannot?) and is it possible to look into why, or have you any ideas, it was that the person received those multiple emails of the same comments? Hopefully it won't happen to them again, or anyone else as I do not want to put them off subscribing to the comments section, and as it was part of a competition as well, it meant they missed out on adding their answer to a comp in the comments. Still I realize these errors happen from time to time.

Just found a lovely theme, but it has a bug.

the theme is called dazzlingeffect, and you can find it here:

the bug is that you can't add comments.
The theme's comments.php is there, but anytime one tries to add a comment he gets an error message : "Error please type a comment.”

this error exists in all the blogs that use this theme, including the source who designed it. I checked other blogs who use this theme, and still amazed that no one have fixed that.

Can anyone look at this theme and advise how to change the code in the comments.php theme's file so that it will be possible to add comments to posts?
