If you want to increase traffic then don't listen to anyone who professes there are passive ways of doing that. Increasing traffic to a blog is hard work.

Two ways of attracting like-minded subscribers are (1) commenting meaningfully and frequently on blogs with similar content and (2) being active on social networking sites.

Also note that as mobiles and tablets use is exploding many new themes do not provide sidebars on all pages in a blog. Most new themes are responsive width themes . Responsive width means the layout adapts depending on the size of the device being used to view your site. 2. How do I add this sidebar to my posting page?

There are two sidebars right and left displaying on posts displayed on their own pages in this blog http://paulacappa.wordpress.com/ wearing Pilcrow.

Can you increase traffic to your blog if you post other related web sites in the sidebar? (Second time I'm asking this). I see some blogs have a blogroll on a side bar with web sites. Someone told me that is a way to increase traffic as the web sites will link back to your own blog site. True?

Having only one Admin is a standard security recommendation since we have a steady stream of people that had the second Admin trash the blog

Also I am not able to change the theme for freedreamerssociety. When I go to add a theme I've selected, freedreamerssociety isn't listed as one of my blogs to add the theme to. What's happening?

Note that in the instructions for adding contributors, step #1 says to go to Users. There is no "Users" on the sidebar options on my dashboard. I see "Tools" and "Settings" but not "Users." It simply isn't there. So the instructions are useless to me.

Please advise.

The RSS Widget displays posts from any RSS feed. You might find this handy if you want to show off one of your other blogs, or one of your favorite blogs, in your sidebar.
