We cannot delete subscribers. Please ask your subscriber to look at the bottom of the last emailed post they received for an “unsubscribe” link that he or she can click. Alternatively, if the have WordPress.com blogs they can go to http://subscribe.wordpress.com/ to manage subscriptions. On this page > http://wordpress.com we can click the “Following” tab and scroll down in the left hand column and click “Manage Delivery Settings”. Then the page opens and we can choose under the drop-down for “Email Delivery” the setting for “no email delivery”. Then we can read the new posts on blogs we subscribe to “follow” on our Readomatic feed reader.

Follow-up: WP Admin responds that they can't remove the address, even though messages sent to it are a waste of bandwidth since it no longer exists. This seems a little untidy to me, but that's the current situation.

Thanks - I'll do that. I wanted to make sure the issue of being unable to manage this aspect was kept in front of WP.

Since I can't delete the subscription, I'd be grateful if a WP admin can do that for me, please.
