I upgraded to a Pro account today as the whole reason i signed up for WordPress was so that I could use a plugin called Fotomoto to sell my photography work through wordpress, however I have now realised that wordpress.com does not allow plugins and therefore I need wordpress.org instead. I bought the $99 bundle and would like a refund as I am not going to use my wordpress.com blog at all now. I think this could be made clearer when signing up.

A WP.com blog like you have contains all the features of a regular, static website plus the ability to blog (and thus, it is much more attractive to search engines).

Just create your site using Static Pages instead of Posts and it'll all work out. You'll probably want a Contact Form on one of the pages as well. Details are in the Support docs: http://en.support.wordpress.com/

The text 'More Photos' successfully appears in white (as intended) in Safari, but in a different and undesirable colour in Firefox and Opera. What am I doing wrong?

This is the code I added:
