I was notified early on, of course, about the expiration, but I chose to ignore it because to put it simply, I didn't really have any intention of renewing my domain.

Now, the thing here is I still want my website to be around. I don't want it going away completely. When I refused to renew my domain, and it eventually expired, I figured only the URL http://dylanbalde.com/ would go inactive. But when I checked http://dylanbalde.wordpress.com/ , it was also inactive. Often, it kept automatically reverting to the old http://dylanbalde.com/ URL. The URL, as of now, is still nonexistent, but the blog, when checked from my admin, is still there, along with the content and everything.

I apologize; I'm not particularly knowledgeable about this sort of stuff, and I'm really confused. What's going on? What happened to my blog? How can I get it back?

We designed it so that folks would be more encouraged to share the original post, not the reblogged post.

So they are disabled so people can't share the reblog, since wordpress want people to share the original post, since you didn't create it yourself, but instead are just bringing it to the attention of your viewers/followers. I guess the likes are disabled for a similar reason.

Pretty much every post has a video on it. They all work fine on youtube but are not appearing on WordPress anymore. The code is still there when I go to edit as well as the URL but the video is just not showing.

I recently noticed that doing a regular Google search for key words contained in one of my blog post titles works just fine, but when I narrow the search down by using Google's 'Blogs' filter, no results come up.

For example, searching using the following string:

brunch marmalade Hobart

will bring my blog up as the number one result using a regular Google search.

But when I click on the 'Blogs' button it returns nothing at all, even pages deep.

I know that this search tool used to work fine up until a month or so ago but I can't work out what could have changed to make this occur.

The only significant change to my blog that I have made in that time is that I created a few extra categories and altered the layout of the blog so that categories are located across the top of the blog (rather than having just one massive blog and an 'About' page). Would this have anything to do with it?

Any help is appreciated.
