I assumed after viewing some of the threads
here that this was a good spot to mention
how the theme I tried to use, had functioned.

The top of this page here reads '

The theme I am referencing (themify2)
was found where you mentioned, in your
link under the 'free' section, Here is the link-

The next theme that I have tried ,

looks nice-
yet the menus, and sidebars , and media
are not working completely, Still it is
fun and challenging to try to figure it all out.

I don't have the knowledge or equipment to
self publish, or manage a blog under the requirements listed for that site.

That's how I know that the site you refer to is not being hosted by WordPress.com and you are posting to the wrong support forum. We cannot help you here. Support for your website software and any advice you need are provided on the WordPress.org support forums and they are here http://wordpress.org/support/ If you don't have a username account at WordPress.org, click that link and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the correct support forums for your software.

The photo slideshow is inoperative-
the menu at the top has disappeared-
it was fun checking out the various features.
I am done using it, since the menu does not work
and the photo carousel- or 'slideshow' for media
does not work.

Recently I formatted my computer and re-installed Windows 7 due to some problems about drivers.

After the re-installation, I found out that I can not see the bar graphs in the Stats section of my blog anymore. I was able to see them before the formatting process.

I thought it has something to do with Java or something but everything is up to date and I still can not see the graphs; even some of the links in the Stats section do not work (ex: Yesterday's Stats).

How can I solve this problem?

On a point of information:
I have reason to believe that there is something going on and that this may not be the optimum time for making theme changes and changes to widgets. The information will not be "lost" but there have been and probably will continue to be some time delays leading to frustration. If you have gone here => Dashboard => Presentation => Themes and clicked on a theme of your choice then you should be able to view your blog and find it there. Once changing themes you may have to rearrange your widgets. Also not that some themes do not have widgets. And as raincoasters has said if that isn't happening for you after you have cleared your browser: windows (with IE or FF) - ctrl F5 or macs (FF) - Cmd-shift-R and refreshed the page then send a feedback to staff using the button on the top right hand corner of any blog page.

I can't change colors in my theme, either. It just started a few minutes ago.

It is not possible to change the colours of your theme unless you have purchased a css customization upgrade.

The only way for me to make this work was to log out and then log in again. Can't explain why this was happening but at the end this was the only solution... Hope it will help !
