I am having trouble embedding a video from youtube. The support page claims to just copy and paste the URL, "and we'll take care of the rest", but the URL is showing in the post when I preview it. I am no HTML wiz, but I tried it in the text format as well and it would even sometimes delete the code I put in.

Does and one have an suggestions?

So, there is a really cool resource called the Macaulay Library that is a database of natural sounds (birdsongs etc.): http://macaulaylibrary.org/

According to the information on their website, you should be able to embed their clips using code like the following: <iframe width='350' height='220' src='http://macaulaylibrary.org/audio/137574/play/320' frameborder='1' allowfullscreen></iframe>

However, I can't get it to work in posts on my blog. What's the issue? Is there any way to make this work?

That answer above by justpi worked for me. Make sure you are getting the html code from issuu - not the other codes they offer.
Then set it up like the 'result' above..
I also know nothing about coding!! But whatever was done above works.. Look at your html code and copy how he has said to set it out and change the dimensions to what he has said above.

You just copy this part only:

turn it to this:

and change the way the dimensions are written. Result:

Embedding issuu book. According to the issuu site, this should be easy peasy! However, no amount of copying the embed code will give the attractive booklet presentation they promise.. Can you help me to get this into my blog even without the .org thing? (I'm not a pro blogger btw, not handy with the skills of blogging)

Everytime I try to place a datpiff embedding into my blog post, it does not show. This is the code I post right now,

You want your domain to be different for every visitor? I suppose it's theoretically possible: you just need to buy a different domain for every visitor you ever anticipate having.

Permalinks, however, are not configurable on WordPress.com. Posts will always be of the format Whatever.wordpress.com/date/title and Pages will always be of the format Whatever.wordpress.com/title.

You could theoretically do it with a WordPress.org install and an unlimited budget. I mean tens of thousands of dollars. For guidance on that, go to WordPress.ORG instead.

I want my domain to be able to be changed with each visitor, but take you back to the same page. For example: http://12steps2sold.wordpress.com/123 Any Street

I want the 123 Any Street to show up as text on the website or as a tag line.

I want the 123 Any Street to be changed to several different address's so that people feel like the same website was developed for them specifically. Custom, even though it is not.

Thanks for the help. I finally got it to work with your advice. It only works through the "post a video" button. I still can't do it the way that you did by copying and pasting the URL into the blog post. I really don't know why.

It is up and running though. The "s" was coming from me logging into my account on Vimeo. Never thought to try it as an external URL. Thanks for all the help!
