For the Responsive theme, the static front page template is what sets it apart from the others. You have a featured introduction, with a picture next to it, a "call out" button (I don't know how many on wp.com version) and three featured front-page widgets.

There are also at least a couple of menus which you can use for different links. (wp.org version has 4 but I'm not sure how many the wp.com version has)

All you need do is to write and publish a post and the "not found" will be replaced with your own post.

Your page is working as expected.

When she uses either the sidebar follow widget or the follow pop-up that appears in the bottom right corner of her browser, she gets a "No associated application could be found" error. She's tried several times over the last two days with the same result. What kind of application could this action be trying to invoke? When I inspect the elements in the sidebar widget, it looks like it is a typical web form that uses the post method (that's about as far as my knowledge goes).

The website is selfhosted, yet the error doesn't come from my host but it's something that used to be provided by the ".com" platform. (Or maybe I am totally wrong?)

Since some days now, I have a problem on my website and it seems I am not the only one.

When I try to browse some pages of my website, the following file should be loaded : https://widgets.wp.com/languages/fr_FR.json
Unfortunately, I am getting an error 404 notifying me that the file doesn't exists.
Because of this file which cannot be loaded, the layout of the webpage is not like it's supposed to be.

After some researches, I found those 2 posts describing the same problem:

When i created the site it was created on windows base, instead of linux.. I called My Host ( Godaddy ) They than transferred everything over from windows to linux.

After the transfer i noticed some error's on the top and bottom of the site... These errors were not there before the transfer

I have been struggling to get them fixed and i have ran out of solution's. So maybe i can get some one to help me out...
