I just want to double check that you're referring to the small horizontal black line that appears below the "Short URL" and "Commenti" links at the bottom of the page as well as inside the left-side navigational bar?

If so, then you can delete it by going to the themes style.css file and navigating to the following code snippet:

.bar {<br /> background: url(img/bar.png) no-repeat 0 100%;<br /> margin-bottom: 7.5em;<br /> overflow: hidden;<br /> padding-bottom: 25px;<br /> }

Delete the following line in this snippet:

background: url(img/bar.png) no-repeat 0 100%;

This will delete both instances of this black line on the page.

Note that if you move them to the left, there may be some funny overlap with the site title. You would either need to fix the widgets in place like the site title and keep them small enough to still work for people with smaller screen sizes or you could make it so the site title area scrolls.

Regarding the footer, we do require that you keep the footer credit links in place. You can adjust the appearance so they don't stand out as much though. Here is an example for your blog:

There isn't a way to change the color of just one letter in a heading using CSS only. I would recommend using an image instead. Once you make the image, I can help you with image replacement CSS if you need help with that.

2) Make the first letter of each word in my subtitle to be bolded using CSS.

CSS can do that! Use this:

text-transform: capitalize;

You'll need the subtitles to have a specific HTML element or class to attach to—such as h3 or h4. Or you can add the CSS inline, but I wouldn't recommend that.

Here is an example of HTML from your current home page:

<p><strong><span style="color:#0000ff;">Why social media and digital marketing?</span></strong></p>

You should edit that and change it to:

<h3>Why social media and digital marketing?</h3>

Then add this to your Appearance → Custom Design → CSS editor:

.content h3 {
	font-size: 1.8em;
	font-weight: bold;
	color: #0000ff;
	text-transform: capitalize;
}

Go to appearance > custom design > CSS, delete everything in the CSS edit window, make sure add to existing... is selected and then click save stylesheet to return to the original CSS for Esquire and see if that does not take care of the problem. CSS is theme specific, so the CSS from another theme can mess things up.

When doing CSS here, add only the specific selectors, and only the specific declarations you are changing or adding to the CSS edit window. That will cut down on a lot of problems.

If you'd like to use the Custom Fonts option to change font size, then you do need to select one of the fonts in the dropdown area first on the Appearance → Custom Design → Fonts page.

If you want to change the base font size for body text or if you want to change the size of fonts in very specific areas, then you can use CSS. Can you tell us an example of which fonts at http://florabee.wordpress.com/ you'd like to make larger?
