I was hoping to get an annual report from stat monkeys, and I am sure wordpress.com sends other helpful things too, so I am wondering: how do I tell wordpress.com that my blog exists?

Originally, I created an account named "wed917tw". I found it is not fitting with my website, so I changed the name to "wed917". I also keep the old blog alive for old reader. However, the address - "wed917.wordpress.com", is hard to find where it is. It shows "the blog doesn't exist" when I go to that address. Does anyone tell me how to solve that problem?

I think it all started when I made some changes to make parts of the site private and not viewable. I usually log in to my wordpress through the actual site, but I don't see the option to log in as admin. And when I try to log in from wordpress.com, it says my email address/username does not exist (I thought I possibly forgot the password).

A blogname can never be re-used once it has been deleted. Before deleting your blog, you had to check a box that said I’m sure I want to permanently disable my blog, and I am aware I can never get it back or use blogname.wordpress.com again
