<p>After going through the forum I see that another has had that issue also due to their site being too big.  Is it possible to send me the export file as soon as possible? <p>@nnadine — You're welcome! The export file, as you found out, won't include the theme and settings, and you'll need to manually copy your widget settings. I'd suggest opening your WordPress.com blog Appearance -&#62; Widgets page in one browser tab while your self-hosted blog has the same dashboard page open.</p>

<p>In the Tools -&#62; Export screen of your WordPress.com blog, select Posts and choose a date range of a few months at a time. I've annotated a screenshot here:</p>

<p>So, export the posts from:</p>
<ul>
<li>April 2012 – July 2012</li>
<li>December 2012 – March 2012</li>

<p>Then, export Pages in another file, and try importing each one at a time at blog.reclaimylife.com
