The window that pops up when you click on the FB Share button now displays the correct image, but the text has completely disappeared.

When anyone clicks to share, the "teaser" text that it displays in the share window is pulled from an old draft, rather than the final draft viewable on the actual web page.

What can I do to fix this?

I've noticed that the Facebook share button is failing to show any numbers on all of my posts. This is unusual since a figure always shows - it's not simply a case of no FB shares.

The Twitter share button is working as normal.

This doesn't change the world but I thought it worth sharing. Many thanks for any thoughts or comments.

The shadowy little numbers on the facebook share buttons on my posts seem surprisingly high to me. Not impossible, just surprising.

From what I can tell from the stats activity and general conversation, a large proportion of my blog visitors (average 150ish pageviews a day) are people I know, and am connected to on Facebook.

Although the numbers on the counters seem in proportion to how popular the posts are by other measures (the most popular have the highest numbers), I'm surprised I'm not seeing nearly as much of people's sharing activity in my own Facebook feeds.

For example, the other day this post was very popular, and I spotted one friend linking to it on Facebook: http://sacraparental.com/2012/10/26/why-the-judge-was-wrong/

But the Facebook share counter says 41 shares, which seems enormous given that 39 of them were invisible to me (I linked to it once as well).

If the counter numbers are generally known to be accurate, then I'll take the kudos and not complain! So I just wondered if I could have your opinions, please?

Anything larger than that will cause unexpected results.

In the meantime i progressed a bit further. Obviously I can find an icon, which I uploaded into the media library of the blog. That all works now. Next issue is:

- the official button is now a LIKE button

so the new service I am creating is a SHARE button. The functionality seems to work with the one I'm creating, however the size of the button is a bit weird. It doesn't resize properly and the descriptive text is placed ON TOP of the image. Can I solve this somehow?
