The Facebook Like box only works with Facebook Pages, not with personal profiles.

You can use a Facebook profile badge instead - there are detailed instructions on how to set one up here.

I've tried typing and copying my facebook url several ways and nothing is working. My FB page is:

If you visit the embedded Facebook likebox directly, you'll see things aren't working quite right.

In this case, the problem seems to stem from the fact that the Facebook Likeboxes are reserved for Facebook Pages only. You'll have better luck with a badge, which is designed for use with profiles.
