Linen theme is a premium theme, so when you purchased it, you also purchased support from the theme designer for how to customize that theme. Best thing to do is to search through their documentation on how to add header images and feature images.

Also note that Hatch's design it will only display 8 posts on the home page, regardless of the settings in Settings -> Reading.

If you see my home page, there are 12 thumbnails (which are the feature images I have set). I DO want the images to appear on the home page, but once you click on the post, the feature image appears again at the top. I do NOT want the image to appear here.

How can I get that sucker out of there? Is there script I can put into each post? Is there a box I can uncheck? Can I set the opacity to 0? If it's script I need every last bit of what I will need to copy and paste. I've searched all over and found plenty of script, but when I paste it into my post text, it shows up in my post as a bunch of jibberish. I used to be pretty handy with HTML, but I am lost anymore.

I've played around with it a bit and now if you click on "News", my first sticky feature image post works but the other doesn't. Also not clear on why it displays under "News" and not on my Home page.

I want to create the feature image slider on my home page just like the demo shows. I understand that I need to create posts that are stickied with a feature image. So I did that... but nothing is displaying...

I'm new to WordPress.com and am totally stumped. Thanks in advance for any help.

I'm having trouble sizing Featured Images correctly on the homepage of my new travel site.

I'm using the Fresh & Clean theme with custom CSS. I wanted to make the Featured Image larger, so purchased the Custom Upgrade and attempted to do so with my very basic knowledge of CSS. I've tried all the code combos I can think of in terms of image width, height, alignment, pixel size, etc... however, the images still comes out mis-proportioned in the frame: always blown out, slightly stretched, and with everything but the center cropped out. (Even super high res versions also lose their crispness).

The only specifications Fresh & Clean's developer gives for Feature Images is this:
"The image must be at least 840 pixels wide, or else the post won’t appear in the slider."

In terms of photo editing, I've tried making high-res images much smaller, then uploading. I've also done a lot of cropping and sizing in Photoshop and re-uploading, but the image always displays the same way within the frame no matter what I do.

GOAL: I just want chosen images to display proportionately in the Featured Image frame. Do the theme's Featured Image settings make this impossible when the frame itself is re-sized? Is there just some coding I don't know that will fix the problem? Or photo editing technique I can't figure out?
