I found it was because I wrote my posts in Chinese. Actually I think in the Oxygen theme, posts will appear in summary automatically on both showcase front page AND the post page.

So I've fixed this problem by inserting brief introduction of the topic in English. I haven't tested if this automatic summary showing function works for Japanese language. But it will be really helpful if the function also is effective for other languages. :)

BUT, the posts in "recent articles" section just won't show only summary on the front page, though it works well on the post page I've assigned. And I really don't want the whole contents being shown on the front page.

It seems to be set to a default for the upper left hand corner of the first picture displayed in a gallery or in the post. It makes for really boring homepage if your images have mostly white backgrounds.

I know it is possible to customize the thumbnail on the homepage sine on the demo version

There is an image on the homepage that link to the post, which contains no image.

Does anyone know how I can either do the same, create a post with no image in the post and still have an image on the homepage OR capture a different are of an image to be displayed on the homepage.
