Log out and clear your browser cache and cookies, reboot you computer and view you blog without logging-in.
clearing your browser cache and cookies > http://www.google.com/support/accounts/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=32050

Also note that there is an Admin edit link on pages and posts that likewise cannot be seen by anyone except you when you are logged in.

There is comment form available at the end of each post your WordPress blog and some blogs also have a contact form. After the form is completed and submitted, the name and e-mail address of the person making the comment will appear and remain visible to them. Why is that and who else can see it? If another person makes a comment are the details of person leaving a comment before them visible to them?

WordPress.com uses cookies to keep track of commenters so if someone makes a comment on your blog, the next time they come to your blog, unless they have cleared their cookies, WordPress.com will recognize them and complete the details for them. No one else will be able to view those details in comment boxes or in contact forms. The next person who comments will see blank fields. Commenters will not see each other’s details.

I added a custom form (generic, WordPress) to a webpage, but for some reason the EMAIL and NAME fields are PRE-POPULATED with MY name and email address. What? How and why is this, and how do I make those fields blank? I want the visitors to put THEIR info in there and NOT see all of mine where theirs belong.

Help me someone, please? Here is the page I am trying to publish without pre-poulated fields:

There are two ways: if you use the Visual editor, you can just grab the bottom right-hand corner and drag it down to whatever size you need. I warn you that if you make it too big, it's a pain to scroll up every time you need italics or whatever.

If you don't use the Visual editor, you can change it under Settings->Writing. I generally have it about 30 lines.

Is there a way to enlarge the text entry field for posts? It would be valuable (to me, at least) to be able to see more of a post as it is written. The sliders are so sensitive that I spend much more time than I should repositioning my cursor.

Misty now supports the custom menu, so you child pages can show up in dropdowns below the parent.

You can't remove that search box unless you buy the paid CSS upgrade. What you can do is either turn most of your pages into child pages (only parent pages show up in the top nav menu) or switch to another theme.

I want to add a large number of pages (about 10) to my blog. My theme is "Mistylook" which is working well for me, except that the search box will cover at least one of the page tabs. How can I remove or hide the search box? I looked for ways to do it through the dashboard etc, but I couldn't find anything.

Hi,

I need to add attributes or fields to my categories. I have 5 categories which needs to have coordinates attached to them. I will loop and display the categories on those coordinates on my blog's start-page.

Could anyone help me to make this happen?

I have managed to add image to each category with this plugin:

I have also looked in to Headspace2, but i didn't find a way to extract the custom data field of the category when looping the categories. I guess it will only extract a custom data field when displaying a single page with single category.

Please help I am a bit desperate!

In my profile Contact Info, I'm unable to edit or delete the website field.
I update profile, the message show an "user updated", but that field is always the same without changes.
others fields update correctly.

If you are working with custom fields, then the blog you are talking about is NOT hosted here at wordpress.COM. We do not have custom fields here.

You need to head over to http://wordpress.ORG/support/ as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

I can't add custom fields as author role user.

i can only do it if I add the permission 'edit other posts' to authors, but I don't want them to edit other posts, only to add custom fields.

That is correct: you can't do this. If it were on a page hosted externally to WP.com you could link to it though.

Forms HTML is not allowed. You can host the form somewhere else and then link to it, but you cannot put a form into your blog. As I remember there are some places that will host forms for you and then either email the information to you or you can collect it online at their site.

Search the internet for something like "free form hosting" and you should find a solution.
