Yeh i dont want them all in the same post; i want each file to be in its own post. Are you saying that that is not possible??

You appear to have a private blog so check how it may work.

But are you sure you need that? It's only useful if you're going to insert them all into the same post. If not, you'll then have to open each one in turn in your Media Library to get its URL or otherwise attach it to a post, so you're not gaining anything.

I have a number of text documents on my computer which are in many different file types as I use both Mac and PC. Basically I am wondering whether I can upload all of them in a quick and simple way, and if not is there any method i could use that would allow me to achieve this???

If its not possible in wordpress do you have any tips on what file hosting service i could use?

I'm a brand new blogger. On my dashboard, where it lets you upload stuff, there's two little notes which say 'Upload Music'. So I click on them and all the file types listed are TEXT or GRAPHIC files, no MP3s allowed, I've tried Ogg Vorbis, .WAV, .WMV....

I know it says about buying extra space for music files, but I know I've got 3 gig and it's a titchy little 8meg piece of music. So I don't need to buy more space, am I right in this, as it will easily fit within my allowance.

So why is there an 'upload music' icon if none of the listed allowable filetypes are Music filetypes? What's the point of it?

Nosy, Alexa has some system where you can register your website with them and allow people to lookup and see who the owner of the site is. A9 uses it as well and has proposed a standard on it's use. There's a WordPress plugin for generating the file as well. I don't know if it would work on WPMU though. Since Alexa wants to drop the file into the root directory, I kind of doubt it.

Let me know what'd be most convenient for you.

Um, I've got to say though that I'm real iffy on giving up personal data like this though. I can't see any reason why Alexa needs to know your real name, phone number and all that.
